Your Salespeople Matter

Sarah told us that too often, startups refuse to train their sales
people — preferring to let them learn through "sink or swim," method
– causing the whole company to sink from Razorfish's radar

The problem with sales is that it's a function that has a high cost if you want to use the sink or swim method that is the way most startups operate.  That's the reason why a lot of startups do such a bad job selling and also why salespeople make so much effin money.
