Last piece of advice is this. Don’t get into VC because of the money….
Be ready to have massive cramdowns of management teams, aggressive terms to crush other VCs (play-to-play provisions in term sheets) and working with restructuring companies. In many ways, what you will see will be very depressing and stressful at times. On the other hand, you will learn more from the experience about how business is done and how people react in weird times that will serve you a lifetime.
