After you’ve been in a dysfunctional organization, sometimes you just need to get out. I can respect that.

Another side effect of uncertain times is that the people who do okay during times of restructuring are the ones who can play the political game. Those who dislike that aspect get worn down even further. Mayer needs to bring in the right outsiders to address this situation. This is actually one of the more important things for her to get right.
