Monetization: Movie theater trailer / previews ad revenue

I found this Quora post on ad revenues from trailer ads:

NCM is the largest provider of pre-trailer ads. Those generate $335 million in annual revenue across approximately 17,000 screens. That’s roughly $20,000 per screen or less than $54 a day per screen or about $11 a showing. That’s gross revenue to NCM. It looks like about $50 million of that ends up to the theaters.
