Google, Twitter and Publishers Seek Faster Web – The New York Times

I’m curious to see what this implementation would look like.  The crux of this issue will be preserving analytics data while increasing speed and user experience.  After all, iOS 9 content blocker’s are suggesting that the sluggish load times are mostly explained by ads and scripts.

According to the people involved in the project, publishers would have to slightly alter their articles’ web coding and make it available to be copied, or cached, so that it could be quickly loaded on web browsers, Twitter or other services, even those that don’t participate.
